ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County lawmakers have a busy night ahead.

Legislators will consider continuing with plans for a center of government building. It would be on North Tioga Street in Ithaca. Legislative Chairwoman Shawna Black recently said the project would provide more space for parking.

Lawmakers will also look at extending the lease of the Tompkins County History Center, and they’ll talk about funding for recycling. The legislature meets at 5:30 this evening.
