Ithaca’s Cass Park could benefit from state grant

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A recreational facility in Ithaca could see more funding.

The city is considering applying for a $500,000 grant to improve the pavilion and restrooms at Cass Park. The money would come from New York’s Environmental Protection Fund. Common Council meets at 6 PM on Wednesday to discuss.

In related news, the Village of Cayuga Heights recently applied for a grant to help restore Sunset Park.
