ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Several streets in Ithaca could see lower speed limits.

The Town Board is requesting to reduce Southwoods Drive, Eldridge Circle, and Old Gorge Road to an area limit of 25 miles-per-hour. Residents are reportedly concerned about speeding vehicles and the safety of pedestrians.

The potential change must be reviewed by the State Department of Transportation.
