Ithaca company Halomine wins $250K in Grow-NY summit and competition

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – An Ithaca company’s named a winner in the Grow-NY Food and Agriculture summit and competition.

More than $3 million awarded to six different companies developing cutting edge industry-related technology in the Central New York, Finger Lakes and Southern Tier Regions. The Ithaca-based company Halomine was awarded $250,000 to help advance its line of anti-microbial products.

The company’s website says its product keeps surfaces clean for 24 hours, while typical disinfectants typically last just one hour.
