IPD arrests suspect with multiple warrants

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca Police report the arrest of a man with multiple active warrants, including one for a violent felony.

An officer spotted the suspect driving a vehicle along Lake Street. The officer attempted to stop the car, and the suspect did finally stop at the dead end of Renwick Heights Road. After initially refusing to exit the vehicle, 31-year-old Raymond Kamila complied with officer’s instructions and was taken into custody.

Kamila has now been remanded to the Tompkins County Jail on counts from multiple incidents including attempted burglary, attempted assault, criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal tampering, and harassment.
