Cortland to hold second public hearing on Parker proposal

CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Another public hearing is coming up about a proposal to transform the Parker Elementary School building in Cortland. 

Mayor Scott Steve says the city received one proposal from Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services to turn the empty building into housing. The mayor says residents have expressed concern. 

The mayor adds that it’s not a done deal.

The public hearing is set for August 1.
