Cortland authorities ask for help to ID suspect in counterfeit money investigation

CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – Authorities in Cortland County are asking for help to identify a suspect in a counterfeit currency investigation.

Deputies say someone recently made several purchases at the Cortlandville Walmart with phony money. Anyone who recognizes the person pictured below or has relevant information should contact the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office at (607)-758-5548.
