Brock: Rejecting Cornell MOU ‘consistent’ with prior statements

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — One Ithaca Common Council member voted against accepting an amended MOU with Cornell. 

Alderperson Cynthia Brock explained her decision Friday on Ithaca’s Morning News. 

Brock favored a seven-year agreement. The Common Council voted Wednesday 9-1 on a $4 million deal over 15 years. Cornell’s Board of Trustees has approved that amended agreement.
